Three Decades of Creative Growth
Roger Smith, a native Tennessean, began his artistic journey in the mid-1990s. Originally painting with acrylic paints and then advancing to oil paints. For 30-plus years, Roger’s style has evolved into an impressionistic Le Pho art style. Roger's artwork primarily focuses on floral, abstract, and nautical scenes and occasional animal and cultural paintings.
A Legacy Beyond the Studio
Roger has donated artwork to the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, TN; Mizpah Congregation, Chattanooga, TN; and University of Minnesota Hospital, Minneapolis, MN. Memorial Hospital, Chattanooga, TN; Beaver Ruin Animal Hospital, Lilburn, GA; DIJP-Accountants, Norcross, GA; Hope Dwells Zimbabwe; Eric’s House, Phoenix, AZ; Laken Hope Foundation, Woodstock, GA; and The University of Tennessee, Aiken, S.C. Alumni Chapter. Additionally, Roger has artwork in multiple American cities, Ireland, Italy, India, and Zimbabwe.
